What a wonderful first week back in Reception! 🐻🪿

We started the term with a very special Magic Story Box surprise… we met a bear and a gosling! The gosling thought the bear was her Daddy — how strange! This led us to explore what a mother goose really looks like and to learn all about the goose life cycle. We talked about families and who we belong to, just like our little gosling discovering her own parents.

The children have loved painting beautiful pictures of goslings and learning about different animals and their babies. In Maths, we’ve been busy identifying patterns, spotting mistakes in patterns, and even creating some fantastic patterns of our own.

It’s been a busy but very enjoyable first week — we’re so happy to be back and ready for a term full of learning and fun! ✨
