On our trip to Chester, we learned about Roman Britain and what life was like for Roman soldiers. The children dressed as Roman soldiers and worked together to form a tortoise to protect themselves from the Celts. They experienced how Roman soldiers trained and lived. We took part in a workshop, where we examined real artefacts, and toured the museum to learn more about the Romans and their impact on Britain. It was an exciting day that helped bring history to life.
