This week, Year 6 have started their new book 'Rose Blanche' in English. We discovered items that link to the book and made predictions as to what significance they have in the story. We also completed a drama activity focusing on how characters can have different perspectives on events. 

In Science, we looked at the function of the human heart and how important it is in keeping us alive. To help us understand how the heart contracts and pumps blood and oxygen around the human body, we studied a model made from a glass jar, a balloon and a straw!
