SCHOOL CLOSED TOMORROW: TUESDAY 6TH JANUARY

Firstly, happy new year!

Secondly, apologies for causing any inconvenience, but due to the weather, school and nursery will be CLOSED on TUESDAY 6TH JANUARY.

Our wonderful site staff have worked really hard today to clear the school site, but as of late this afternoon, there was still thick snow on Lawrence Street, which had already started to freeze. 

With very cold temperatures forecast overnight and the possibility of more snow in the morning, we are concerned that Lawrence Street in particular (but also some of the other roads around school and nursery) will be unsafe for pupils, parents and staff tomorrow.

Hopefully the conditions will improve if the temperatures increase throughout tomorrow, and we can re-open for the new term on Wednesday.

We will keep you updated throughout the day, and teachers will share some home-learning on class pages on ClassDojo for children to do throughout the day. Please check your class page after 10am tomorrow.

Apologies again for any inconvenience, but safety is the priority, and we felt that giving as much notice as possible would be helpful.
